My name is Meriam van Franeker and I founded MFra Traffic Safety in 2017. With years of experience within various governments in the field of road safety, I have taken the step to work as an independent consultant and project leader.
MFra Traffic Safety focuses mainly on influencing the behavior of road users and therefore has extensive experience in project-based development, deployment and/or supervision of traffic education programmes, information and awareness campaigns. MFra Road Safety endorses the motto of Make a Point of ZERO, whereby we strive for as few road casualties as possible.
Project leader Stairs at ROV South Holland
As project leader Doortrappen I guide the municipalities in South Holland with the implementation of the Doortrappen program. Doortrappen is a national program with the aim of keeping senior cyclists mobile for longer and making them more aware of their own behaviour.
This will promote bicycle safety and reduce the number of bicycle accidents.

This is only possible if we go for it together. That we are prepared to behave safely and that roads are designed to be Sustainably Safe. This requires cooperation between all organisations, companies and road users. My strength is where everything ultimately comes together and results in safer traffic behavior from young to old.
